Patriot Email

Your “application received,” login credentials, and accept/deny communications all go to the email you used when you applied. About 24 hours after admission, a student email account will be created for you, which then becomes your official communication channel, and all emails will go to that account.

You can log into your Patriot Email account.

myUTTyler

Access myUTTyler for a variety of activities, including:

  • Checking your admission status
  • Enrolling for classes
  • Dropping classes
  • Viewing and paying your bill

The myUTTyler ID and password allow you to register for classes. You should receive an email after you submit your application that contains your myUTTyler ID and password after you submit your application. Activation of your Patriots email account is required for login access to myUTTyler.

Your Patriot Power Card (P2 Card)

If you are registered for classes, your P2 Card (official student ID) can be printed now. You can also receive your P2 Card by visiting the Enrollment Services Center (ADM 230) or by mail. You must choose your refund preference prior to receiving your card.

To receive your P2 Card by mail, you must email the following items to the Cashiers’ Office from your Patriot Email account:

  • A jpeg headshot photo of yourself
  • A scanned copy of your valid driver’s license
  • The address your P2 Card should be mailed to

Library

The Robert R. Muntz Library at UT Tyler offers over 180,000 books, carries subscriptions to over 500 print journals and provides access to over 75,000 e-journals and 165,000 e-books.

You can access the library with your Patriot username and password (the same login you use for Canvas and myUTTyler).

Canvas 101 & Support

You can access your Canvas courses at uttyler.edu/canvas/. Your username and password are the same ones used for your myUTTyler account and Patriot Email Login.

As a student, if you have never used Canvas or are just beginning a new semester, Canvas 101 is a course designed to help you learn how to navigate and use the learning management system. The Canvas 101 course will remain available to you as a resource to ensure student success while you are enrolled at UT Tyler. The course includes orientation, a student guide and 24/7 support. Technical Support

Students can access technical support by emailing [email protected]. Students should include the following information in their email to technical support:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Student ID
